LET US DEDICATE OUR LIVES IN THE FIELD OF ACTION!
Loving Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Resurrection and the Life!
Jim Elliot
Jim Elliot was the third son of our movement's former General Secretary, Mr. Patrick Joshua. At the young age of 23, he dedicated his life to the people of our nation in need specifically the Malto people residing in the state of Jharkhand.
Hearing that the Malto people were perishing due to diseases like Malaria, Cholera, and Tuberculosis, Jim Elliot committed himself to God to help them and rescue them from destruction. Although Jim was born into a well-to-do family and had every opportunity to build a comfortable life for himself, he chose to set those comforts aside. He offered his life for the well-being of the Malto people. In response to God's mercy, as stated in Romans 12:1, Jim surrendered himself as a living sacrifice to God.
Our Spiritual Worship
What is the first and most important task for us as Christians? It is to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to God. When Paul speaks of the "body," he refers to the whole person - spirit, soul, and body. The body we offer must be living and blameless. We must surrender our bodies as living sacrifices in response to God's mercy, because Jesus Christ offered His own body as a sacrifice for us. This is the spiritual worship that God expects from us. Such a sacrifice is holy and pleasing to Him.
Dear Young People! When compared to what He has done for us, everything we do for Him is very, very small! Therefore, dedicate your lives to Him while you are still young.
- LEAD Training Programme was extremely beneficial. By God's grace, 55 youth leaders participated and were empowered.
- In March, the Lord enabled us to start a new Youth Fellowship in the Pammal area.
- Please pray for the Annual Camp to be held from May 21st to 24th at the Bethel Campus in Danishpet, Salem. We are praying for approximately 1,000 young people to attend this year.
We cordially invite you! Please come and bring your friends along. May the Lord bless you abundantly. Amen!
In Christ's Service,
J. Daniel Arulmani
